Transcription: It's certainly easy to get files using FTP, if you know where it will look. But there are many FTP sites containing thousands of gigabytes of data. How do you find files when you don't know where they're located? There is a service that can help. It's called Archie. Archie maintains a database of all files that are stored on anonymous FTP sites that agree to cooperate. Periodically, Archie logs into each of these sites and downloads the file names available on that site.
